Typical Irvington

For those of you who've been to Irvington before, you understand the title. Vic's is closed for their annual month long vacation, so Paradizio is the next best choice. While the operations are better than before, it's not exactly like a Swiss watch. It's still difficult to get the bartender's attention as the phone seems to be more interesting than trying to make a buck serving drinks.

The bar is in a commercial location with lots of on street parking, but no parking lot. The neighborhood looks a little rough, but I've never had any issues. There's no cover before 8:00 I believe and domestic beer is $5.

There was about 8 dancers and they finally enforce the rule that someone should be on stage at all times. Most of the girls are either roaming around asking for tips or dances at the bar ($10). It's a very hands on type of dance (both ways). I had a couple of beers and a couple of dances. It's good stress relief and I'll be back.
