A good place for the right guy
This was not the place for me, but could be a good place for lots of guys. If you are a guy who likes to go to a club in a tee shirt and hoodie and sweat pants, and hang with your bros and your softball buddies, this is the right place for you. The patrons consisted on this Friday night of Hood Ballers making it rain with dollar bills, and 30-something dudes in tee's and hoodies. That's not a dig, it's an accurate description.
The place itself is big. It looks like a shack from outside, but it's not. It's big and well built and multi-level. It's byob, but you can buy soft drinks from machines if you forget. It's loud and the music is terrible, but what the songs lack in likability they make up for in length. So a private dance is a decent length. The seating area sucks. You either sit at the bar and continually shovel dollars to the stage dancer, or sit away from the stage in chairs that don't allow the girls to sit with you. They are all set up with a chair, then table, then chair. So the girls end up squatting down to talk to you...which is unsustainable. Therefore the "chate" ends up being little more than a hello, introduction, a minute or two of small talk, then the pitch for a private dance.
The private dances, at least on this Friday, were $25 for topless and $40 for full nude. I hate that because who has exact change for $25? Which likely means you may do 2 topless songs, and just give the girl $60, unless you carry $5s and $10s with you. I would prefer they just did $20/$30 dances, and make it easier on the guys.
