BEAUTIFUL STRIP CLUB BUT DEAD!!!
Decided to try change it up this time. Went to TJ on Super Bowl Sunday with the intent of kicking back at Amensia, having a couple beers, and watching the game. On their Instagram, they said they were going to be open at 3 pm for the Super Bowl and serve tacos but they were closed so I was pretty disappointed. I intentionally stayed at Hotel Ticuan which was a two block walk to Amnesia. As much as I love Hong Kong, I was trying to avoid Hong Kong because I knew it was going to be crazy and packed. Went back to my room and watched the rest of the game, then tried again. This time the club was finally open at their regular time.
Charged $6 for cover which included a drink so not bad. It looks like their lobby was under renovations. Walked up a flight of stairs into the main area. The mesera took my order and sat me down, then another mesero brought over a girl and I politely declined. She was easily the prettiest one there, but I wasn't interested at the time. The place is broken up into the Main Stage area and VIP area. Had a few very beautiful women there, the rest were ok. While I was there, one woman went up and danced on center stage but didn't strip. The other women were sitting down on their cell phones. After my first drink, the meseros got a little aggressive so I decided to leave and go back to my hotel. Hung out with a friend then went to HK which I was trying to avoid. HK was super busy and crowded so I decided to ventured the other clubs and ended up in Chicago Club which I left a very glowing review.
Amensia had barely any action on center stage and most of the women seemed disinterested and were glued to their cell phones. The place was pretty dead. The place has potential and is away from the craziness of Zona Norte. Would probably try one more time. Head of security was really chill.
