BYOB is a plus
I hadn't been to a club in MB and didn't do my normal check here before heading in so I didn't realize this was BYOB. Fortunately they told me at the door before I paid cover, so I scooted on down to the BP for a couple drinks. The cover was higher than other places I've been recently but with BYOB they get away with it. Overall it is worth the higher cover if you plan to drink a fair bit. I was driving so I didn't, thus it didn't save me any money this time.
The girls in the club were solid 7 or 8 level with a couple that are someone elses idea of a good time. It is certainly more blue collar feel/vibe but that can be comfortable and it was for me that night. The girls weren't too pushy but dances is what they were gunning for as the stage show was sad at best. It was more like get up there and walk around to music. Some of the girls threw in some solid shimmies but nobody put on a show. I found the seating on the floor to be less than comfortable but not unbearable. Like I said, more blue collar bar than plush club. Of course, I wouldn't say they are planning on anyone spending a ton of time watching the stage, so it isn't a primary concern here. There were clearly a few regulars here who the girls played to more and I can understand that... after all it is the off season and that's their bread and butter. I'd be interested to see how this place hops when the golf crowds are coming through.
