Diamond in the rough

I was working west of Baton Rouge for the week and had an early morning flight so I decided to get a room somewhat near the airport. This club is right off the 10 freeway near plenty of hotels. It's located on the frontage road next door to a Motel 6, but there are better quality hotels on the other side of the freeway. Some of them seem to be fairly new.

Pulled into the parking lot around 12:30pm. The front of the lot was well lit and pretty full so it looked like it wouldn't be dead inside. Right inside the double doors is the cashier to the right. Cover was $8. There were about 10 dancers on the floor, 4 AA, one PAWG, and the rest Hispanic. All seemed busy sitting with customers either at the bar or the tables. At least I didn't see any hiding in the corner by themselves playing on their phones. On stage in the middle of the room was a skinny fat white girl. The bar is too the left dividing this room and another room with an additional stage that was not being used. VIP and the lap dance room is on the right hand side. There looked to be an off duty police officer working security at the front counter and 2 other security guys hovering around the stage area so I was wasn't sure what to expect. Does this place get really crazy on a weeknight? Or are they there to make sure no touching or fun is going to be had.

I grabbed a seat at the corner of the bar, ordered a Tito's ($9) and surveyed the dancers. I didn't see any that were my type or above a 5. After declining a dance from the skinny fat girl who came off stage, I started whatching the PAWG on stage. She had been sitting with a customer when I came in and didn't seem too interested in being at work, but once she got on stage she got to work and put in the effort to put on a good stage show even though no one was tipping. I made sure to tip her during her second song. She was the only one I had seen who had potential. After she came off stage she head to the back with her original customer. I figured it may be her regular and planned on having a second drink, maybe some more tipping, then calling it a night.
