Short Stay
I decided to visit this place after getting some food at Twin Peaks close by. It's within walking distance, so I walked off some of the food I had just eaten. You walk in to a velvet rope that leads around the corner to the cashier on the right, but the stage is straight ahead with open floor plan and chairs/tables distributed around the place. Bathrooms are off to the side. The stage has a mirror behind it, I assume for the purpose of allowing the dancers to see themselves.. The place was empty when I came in. There was just one dancer. . . slim brunette. . . on the stage, but she was laying there on the stage. . .on her phone. I guess you can't blame her because of the emptiness of the place. I knew I shouldn't have even bothered to stay, but I said I'd give it the benefit of the doubt. So I paid the entry fee ($20) came in and sat down right in front of the stage. The dancer. . . well the dancer finished whatever she was doing on her phone while I just sat there. I don't know if there were other dancers working that night, but she finished the last minute or so of her dance "routine" and just left. . . with me sitting there. . . I guess she assumed I would be gone by the time she came back.
She was right. . . I quietly got back up. . . went to use the restroom, and left. I guess I came at a slower time. Next time I'll have to go with a group of buddies, at a more "participative" time frame. But this visit wasn't all the hype I thought it would be.
