Lackluster visit

I arrived at the Hustler Club on a Sunday night around 11:00 PM. When you enter, there is a guy at the door checking IDs, then a counter upstairs where you pay the cover, which was $15 when I arrived.

The club is fairly cozy, with an oval stage in the middle (with seats all around), chairs and small tables surrounding the stage, and a bar in the corner. There may have been other satellite stages, but I did not notice because the club had only one dancer on stage that evening. I was not pressured to purchase drinks, which I appreciated with the $15 cover.

When I arrived, there were about eight dancers present, a mix of white and African-American girls; I would say the dancers ranged from 6s to 8s, with as many 8s as 6s. At about midnight, three of the dancers left, and the club was pretty dead after that.
