It's like the Walmart of Pussy...

I'm not from the area, but I am within a few hours so I have been to the downer quite a few times. My most recent visit was very consistent with what I have come to expect from this place. I went with my female companion Thursday and Friday night, arriving around 7:30 and staying until close both nights. The club is pretty low-key until around 10:00 or so. Maybe 15-30 girls, very low pressure conversation and solicitation. There is always a good mix of types, but I have noticed a trend towards the pushy bolt-on bimbo lady recently. Regardless, before the night time rush you will likely be able to come in, get a nice spot, and find a girl or two that you will like. After 10 though, especially on the weekends, the place starts getting crazy. The club is pretty small and run down, so it can get very claustrophobic inside. By midnight, nearly all the large tables have been grabbed by groups who are buying bottles, so you will end up stuck at the bar or standing. Even with the 100+ dancers that pack the place, it can be hard to get the attention of whoever you like. The club really should be one of the best in north america, it is in a great tourist location, tons of young hotties come from Toronto and the surrounding area to make a buck, the laws let all of the contact and nudity one could want, but for some reason this place just refuses to expand and improve. For what its worth, they do have the overflow club, and they are currently doing construction to (hopefully) improve the facilities, but as it is now the building is just not able to stand up to the action that starts to happen as the night goes on.

As far as the quality of the action... It's pretty good. There is always a huge mix of types, some of which I wouldn't even be interested in for free. It doesn't seem like the club has much of vetting process for the talent, nor do they set any sort of schedule or shifts, so the stinkers do find their way in, but I have never failed to find at least a few who I would put at 8-10. The dances are usually very good, out in the open so not many extras or "special touching" but I have spent some of my best 20s at this spot. The value can be really great, as long as you aren't a pushover and only spend on the ones who you like. Beers are like $8 Canadian so less than most US clubs, and if you tip your waitress and order shots of well brands or non-topshelf shit (crown, jager, captain, etc) they will give you a good 1.5 oz for $8. Not cheap, but much cheaper than any other decent club I have been to. Stage dancers get naked for the last song so that's nice. $20 table dances (on the horseshoe tables) will usually give you a better view and some contact so if that is your thing do that. If you are in a group and you are offered table dances by a 7+, Jesus Christ do it. Lapdances will be good-great before 10, ok-good after 10. They have big communal rooms that serve as overflow for the booths, where the bouncers sit and pretend to watch what is happening. Things won't be as good if you are in this room, but will still be better than 95% of non-Detroit american clubs.

If you are planning a bachelor party or are going with a group of 4+ this place is perfect for you. Buy a cheap >200 bottle and grab a nice table. Get there around 9. You will have a ton of attention and be able to go in on table dances that you will remember for a long time. If you want the quintessential strip club group outing this is the place.
