Great potential, but can get really crowded.

I was out in the Tampa St. Pete area, and wanted to try a new place on the west side of town, so based on reviews decided to check out Oz. The place is right off a highway, and up the road from 2 other places, but the others didn't seem to get great reviews so I only checked out this one. It's a medium size club, and pretty well-lit which was nice. When you come in a pay the cover, there's a little bar right in front of you to get a drink right away from a cute girl, but there are also waitresses circulating. Prices were decent - I think I got a gin and soda for less than $10. Inside, there are two main round stages along the right side, and a smaller satellite stage on the left. Further back on the left is a long raised bar with 2-3 bartenders. There are stools all around the bar and a couple of tables behind and looking down at the satellite stage. On the main floor there are small tables with rolling chairs, a tip row at the 2 stages and a few chairs along the wall. In the front right corner is a cashier where you pay before going in for a private dance with your girl.

I got there on a Saturday night, around midnight - there must have been something going on in town, because the place was packed! Not only were there no chairs open, it was hard just to walk because of all the dudes standing around without seats too. I grabbed a drink, found a stool behind a column, and sat for a bit, but couldn't really see the stages so got up again (that's why the stool was empty lol). I finally found a chair along the wall near the front when a PL got up to get a dance.

Now there were about 30 girls working, lots of variety, but mostly white and latin. But a couple of black girls too. Mostly enhanced, very pretty and dressed well. You had spinners and curvy gals, young chicks and older babes. About 15 minutes after I sat down, they did the parade, where all the girls line up and walk through the club so everyone could see who was working. They offered the special, I think it was 2 for 1, though it might even have been like 4 for 1 (but as usual, the songs for the special are shorter than usual). The girls walked around and seemed motivated to get a guy for the special, they must have an incentive to score a dance. But the weird thing about this place and on this night was that because of the cashier setup to go into the private dance rooms and the crowd, a long line formed of girls with their customers waiting to pay and go into the back. I saw a gorgeous latin girl, curvy with blonde hair on the line that I thought I might like to try get after. The line moved so slow that she was there with the guy for like 10 minutes, and basically missed the first 2 songs - that's why I think it may have been 4 for 1. It was weird - I'm not sure if the girls or the cashier still lets you do the special anyway if you get your turn late, or what.
