Slow Friday Afternoon

This was my first visit to Cowboys in about a year (always on day shift). I have always felt that Cowboys has been one of the better day shift clubs that I have visited when you consider price, quality of dancers, and bang for the buck. After this visit I am less sure.

I arrived about 2:30 on a Friday and there was no cover and beer was $3.50 (I think). If you have never visited Cowboys it can a little tough to find being on the back side of a shopping center at the corner of Russell Cave Road and New Circle Road. It is probably easier to enter off of Russel Cave Road and to look for the sign to the right of the stores.

I like a club with a little bit of a party atmosphere where everyone is upbeat and having fun. Cowboys seemed to be just the opposite, everyone there seemed on something or just hated being there (probably both). I tipped a few dancers and left after finishing my beer. Note that most dancers get topless pretty quickly on stage and most go full nude.
