This place was around the corner...

This place was around the corner from my hotel, so I made it my next stop. Bad choice. I stopped by at around 2:30 a.m. and rang the bell. Did the customary tip to Mr. Tuxedo Man and sat down. What happened next? Nothing.

The club’s layout is much like the other Ste. Catherine climb-the-stairs clubs. The stage is on one wall near the center of the club. Strangely, it has a mirrored barre like in a dance class. The bar (the drinking kind) is at the back corner with porn playing on a TV overhead. LD’s are in an open area near the street end of the club. You can see the tops of dancers’ heads from the rest of the club.

While I realize that 30 minutes before closing may not be the best time to enter a club, it was still Saturday night, and I expected SOMETHING to happen. While one woman was doing her job in the LD area, the rest of the girls were just sitting around. There were only a few customers. No one approached me about a dance, including the pretty redhead nearby. Strange, considering I was virtually attacked by women in the other clubs that night.
