I am so sorry that DandyDan thinks Des Moines is a hell-hole. NOT TRUE (and no evidence whatsoever was offered.) Des Moines is much like any other small city - it has some drawbacks and some plusses.

But I digress. Visited Big Earls twice last night, and I was disappointed by the lack of energy. Four girls, all acceptable but none special. The audience was extremely small, and you might say "well, heck, it's Monday you dummy". but I drove 3 miles north to Outer Limits and the place was hoppin', nearly full. Maybe the problem as I see it is that guys just aren't having very much fun at Big Earls, so why go?

I'm not sorry I went -- I got a nice-but-not-special lap dance from Chris, who I would rank 7 on body/face and 8/9 on personality. Wish we'd had time to get a little better acquainted. She had a good sense of humor, which means a lot to me. The other three girls didn't particularly impress me.
