Not my First Choice

Back in good ole Texas and where does the first night of a wedding weekend end up at? Spearmint Rhino, cause its classy and shit. Now Ive been to SR in Dallas, LA and Vegas and they are what they are, your stereotypical strip club, meaning plush everything and soft ass lighting. Now I myself like a divey club in all fairness but this place serves its purpose. So after the rehearsal diner/ cocktail party a bunch of us decide we need to see some what the great state of texas has to offer. No idea what cover is cause someone in our group of guys comes here often enough to get in for no cover even with 5 other guys. Drinks were on the higher end for mixed drink 15 and up, we spent 300 all together in no more than 3 rounds, so maybe thats maybe why we all go in for free, jack up the prices on drinks.

Now the club itself is pretty awesome, decent stage with stair bridge that connects the bar and stage , main floor and some upper floors with like small balcony seating. For a Friday, it was pretty slow, maybe cause its that odd time between Xmas and New Years, or people go to some of the better spots in the area aka Baby Dolls or my favorite low key spot the Clubhouse. Spent most time at the rail, bullshitting with dancers who seemed scripted and robotic which is a major downside, but we got a bit handsy with the stage dancers grabbing tits and smacking asses for a few dollars here and there. Only 1 or 2 dancer really caught my eye, both latinas with butts that could suffocate a man, sadly one was dumber than me, when i walk into the VIP with a hard on before negotiating and the others first question to me was how much cash do i have, and that right there was the red flag to just drink and hangout at the rail.

For being a highly upscale club with great decor and ambiance, and women who blow you away looks wise, its easy to see past the surface especially if you like to talk a bit and bullshit with dancers. All in all its on par with the rest of the SR's Ive been to, seem great to start off the night but all the excitement fades fast
