The former Gold Club is now known as The Gold Room. For whatever reason, the name has changed slightly. Valet parking is mandatory. The cheaper option is $6 and your car gets parked somewhere behind the club. The pricier option is $15 and you can park in a select few spaces at the front of the club. Personally, I always self park several blocks away because I hate valets. When I walk in from the street, the valets always ask where I parked and give me a hard time, I just tell them I walked over from one of the local taco restaurants or parked next door at Scores. There is no cover charge or dress code before 20:00. After 20:00, there is a $10 cover charge and all jackets and hats must be checked with the door girl. Happy Hour is from 17:00 to 19:00 on weekdays. Domestic bottles are marked down to $2. Call drinks are $5. Private dances are two for the price of one. Imported beers are not included in the Happy Hour and will be $6 at all times. Service before 20:00 is typically a single bartender. Waitresses start showing up after 20:00.

Lap dances take place in a community room that is more like a hallway that hooks around in the shape of a horseshoe. There are individual leather seats separated by white silky curtains, but there is very little privacy unless it is not crowded in there. Lap dances are full contact in my experience. I have yet to get private dances from a dancer that would not let me touch her all over, including her breasts. The regular price for a topless lap dance is $30. On Thursdays, private dances are $10 all day long, which is the best value in the Chicagoland area considering the contact and the attractiveness of the entertainers.

The champagne rooms are $275 for fifteen minutes and $550 for thirty minutes. These prices include the price of a bottle of champagne. The brand is Anna, which I am guessing is some cheap brand with a large markup. The champagne rooms are on the other side of a glass door from the rest of the club. The rooms have a leather couch and a table. There is an open door where a waitress or bouncer can peak in, but for the most part, they are pretty private. The host working the podium outside the glass door keeps time. I did the fifteen minute option once, and it seemed like I was cut short by a couple minutes. I made the mistake of doing it with Kendra. She gave me three very good lap dances. She made a lot of assurances if I did a room with her: kissing, titty sucking, stroking my dick, exchanging digits. She ended up not following through on anything, and the lap dancing in the private room was tamer than the communal room.
