Don't Waste Your Time

Icon is in Hudson, about 15 miles north of the cluster of strip clubs centered around New Port Richey. I stopped by at about 3:00 p.m. on a Friday afternoon. There was no doorman and no cover at this hour. The club is what I would call medium sized: not big, but not too small and cramped either. The bar is the left as you enter, the main stage to right, and a seating area with small cocktail tables in between. There is also a very small, square satellite stage immediately to the left of the door as you enter, but it wasn’t being used. A bottle of water cost me $4.

The club was pretty busy when I entered. The crowd of about 20 guys was all white and blue collar looking. There was no space at the bar and there were half dozen or so guys camped out around the stage where a fairly nicely looking MILF was dancing on stage to country music. She had a pretty face and fairly nice body, but small, droopy boobs. In addition to a pole, this stage has a large, metal ring hanging from a chain, which she used to good effect.

I saw maybe 3 or 4 other dancers. They were all white and between below to slightly above average looking as far as I could tell, but I only saw them from a distance because they were all already tied up with customers and not circulating. After the MILF, a hefty girl with a plain face and a big butt went on stage. Halfway into her first dance, she stopped to check her phone and send some texts. I used this as my cue to depart. Since I didn’t interact with any dancers, I didn’t get any dance prices, but assume they are comparable to other clubs in Pasco County, i.e., over priced single dances for $30 or $40 in order to push timed dances of 15 or 30 minutes, which start at between $75-120, depending on the club.
