The View Is Not Pretty
There was no cover and no doorman when I arrived about 4:00. The large square stage is immediately to the left as you enter. There was a short, fat, late middle-aged dancer with big hair sitting on the end of the stage when I walked in. She wasn’t dancing: just sitting at the end of the stage with her feet dangling. When she saw me, she grinned and pulled out one her large grapefruit sized boobs. I managed a brief smile, but quickly turned away and headed for the bar, where a Coke set me back $3.75.
There were about a half-dozen customers and the same number of dancers, all white, ranging in looks from 1 (the fat lady on stage) to a surprisingly nice looking, slender spinner that I would call a 7; the weighted average was probably around 3-4. I scanned the room while trying to avoid looking at the fat dancer sitting a the end of the stage. She eventually took out a nail file and spent the last two songs of her set filing her nails. That was fine with me. I didn’t care what she did as long as she kept her clothes on.
I was approached pretty quickly by a short, blonde dancer wearing a little Christmas elf outfit. She had a pretty nice body, but a sad, plain looking face. She opened with the usual chit chat and then asked for a dance. She said single dances were $30, 15 minutes for $80, or 30 minutes for $150. When I turned her down, she asked if I would buy her a drink. When I declined this also, she said “darn,” but not in an unpleasant way, and moved on.
