Marginal Club but Friendly Girls

My expectations were tempered due to my visit being at about 7:00 pm on a Wednesday and the fact that San Antonio has silly pastie laws...nevertheless, I expected a bit more from this smallish club. I stopped by while I waited for a friend’s late flight as this joint is relatively close to the airport. It’s back off the road a bit,which I prefer and if I recall correctly the person taking the cover was easy going. I didn’t try any stiff drinks or the food. For the main event there is a stage front and center of the middle of the room lighting was standard dark as not to show too many flaws of the dancers. I was only there about an hour so take that into consideration. From what I saw, visually, the dancers were far less than spectacular. I didn’t bother with a lap dance since I didn’t find the talent very enticing. I did have a nice long conversation with a tall thin African-American dancer with pretty eyes. She was great a conversationalist and if I had more time and been in a better mood I would have spent some quality time with her rubbing her glitter off on me. As it was, she was on stage as I left and I gave her my pile of singles on the way out the door. Overall, the easy going nature of the place and dancers makes me curious to try it again on a weekend evening but with as many clubs as there are in the city and Austin, i’ll try somewhere else before I return.
