The Centerfold Lounge makes me feel welcome and at home whenever I come to visit.

This place is a bit out of the way for my taste but I feel like it’s worth visiting simply because of the general friendliness of dancers, bartenders, and other staff. Centerfold has a raunchy 80s club feel to it, with a subtle aroma of cigarette smoke, just enough lighting to allow patrons to see the dancers on stage, and a palatable selection of brews. The dancers are usually hit or miss in terms of looks, but there are a few that I have taken a liking to over the course of the few trips I’ve made here.

Drinks will usually run you $7-$10 which isn’t too bad in my opinion but I get 1 or two most times I’m here. However, one thing I don’t particularly appreciate sometimes is how some bartenders and drink hostesses insist on buying drinks for the dancers (am I allowed to do that? I’m not sure I mean they are on the clock after all). Anyway, there’s a $5 cover most days and a $2 parking charge which is again very reasonable. If you happen to be so lucky to have a dancer offer to give you a lap dance or two, those generally run $20 a dance, with a $20 down payment if you decide to have it upstairs rather than downstairs (I really don’t have a preference but there’s a pretty nice view up there).

I appreciate how personable the dancers I’ve sat down and had a conversation with are. They enjoy talking to me about their life as I do mine, and there doesn’t seem to be any rush to grind on my groin. I’m kinda particular about who I allow to dance on my lap, and it always brings a smile to my face when the ones I like are there when I arrive. I also enjoy sitting at the side of the stage and placing money onto the bodies of my favorite dancers. A lot of them have pretty advanced skills in that department as well. Many are on the younger side with a few younger ones. There’s one whose stage name I won’t mention who has an incredible rack and booty that you’ll notice if you ever see her.
