pushy dancers who upsell, but, uh... good steak I guess
Came to Rick's for dinner, more than anything, that night. Club was bumping and jam-packed for a Thursday night. Cool vibe, good music, an upstairs and a downstairs -- downstairs is the main club (bar, poles, a few stages, tables/seats etc.) and upstairs is the dining area. We started off upstairs, which is includes a private stage, a VIP area, and the dining room. The VIP area gives you a birds-eye view of the main stage downstairs, and special attention from any wandering dancers in the upper area. Nice and clean -- the kind of place you'd want to eat dinner at -- quality steak as well, if that's your thing.
As for the dancers, well. As I said, the club was hopping and it looked like there were at least 20+ dancers wandering about. Quality was pretty consistent -- mostly 7s and 8s, the odd 9 here and there. But the aggression level on some of the dancers, especially upstairs, was something else. One (this mousy-looking blonde) just refused to take no for an answer and started dancing on you even after repeatedly being told there was no interest. Other more interesting dancers were impossible to get ahold of (but again, it was pretty busy/crowded so can't really hold that against them.)
Value was really not much to write home about. Dances were very standard fare, and make sure you know the dance rates going in, because if you don't, the dancer will have no qualms about upcharging you. Airdancing is the norm. Not sure if that changes in VIP but I doubt it. Again, make sure you stay assertive with the pushier dancers and make sure you're not getting upsold.
