Weird Saturday Night

Since my review of the club is already the latest one, from earlier this year, I will keep it brief. I was in Bakersfield and tried Exotic Kitty's early on Saturday night and it was slow so I tried Deja Vu Showgirls. It was not a good scene. There must have been 15-20 male patrons and very few dancers. Only two dancers performed and were visible at 8 PM on Saturday night. Neither was to my liking and after they danced they went to each patron and just asked if they wanted a dance. There was no attempt to introduce themselves and engage with a customer before popping the question. And they got no takers.

This club, as before, has more waitresses than dancers. So at one point the waitresses (2) went on stage to clean the stage and poles and twerk. Neither of these young ladies were attractive. It seemed like the cleaning women were stripping. Odd. And unappealing. I'd paid a $20 cover and felt ripped off. There was nothing to be gained by remaining there and so I quickly and gratefully returned to Exotic Kitty's. Even realizing the holidays may lessen the interest in a strip club, Deja Vu Showgirls was scrapping the bottom of the barrel.
