Don't Knock It
Bottom line up front: Knockers is ghetto dive, but I wouldn’t hesitate to visit it again.
It’s located on Highway 19 cattycorner to a MacDonald’s directly across the street from the Fairfield Inn where I was staying. The Fairfield is very convenient for a Pasco County strip club trip as it’s centrally located to the string of strips clubs along Highway 19, with the Brass Flamingo a few miles to the north and Bare Assets a few miles south, and a few others scattered around. It also apparently happens to be the best hotel in Pasco County, which tells you something about the economics of the area and why the strip clubs here are a bargain.
I took an Uber to the club as I wasn’t coming directly from the Fairfield, and even if I was, it would be near suicidal to try to cross Highway 19 at night in the rain after a few drinks. It was abnormally cold for Florida and it had been raining most of the evening. There was a large puddle covering the whole driveway leading to Knockers, and the driver informed me there were large potholes under the puddle, so he didn’t want to drive through it. He detoured through and adjoining parking lot in front of Knockers in an effort to find an alternate route, but the parking lots were separated by a grassy median and didn’t connect.
