An evening at the Cricket

I typically visit the Michigan Avenue clubs and H8N during the day. During the day, I chose my clubs based on how long I intend to stay. If it is a short visit, I typically select Bogarts or H8N because you need to spend the fewest dollars for VIP treatment and the sales pitch is much more direct. Not the best array of talent at either place and VIP booths are rudimentary, but those places can get the job done quickly. If I want a longer visit, I typically chose Cricket, the vibe is low key and the sales pitch is more subtle and slower from most gals. Because the smoking is restricted to a separate room, you can spend an hour or two at Cricket without having to develop some excuse for an immediate shower when arriving home.

On this visit, I had an evening free, but could not come home smelling like an ashtray so the Cricket was the spot. I arrived about 9pm, paid the cover and found a fairly full establishment with all the tables occupied. I took that as an opportunity to hit the head, no bathroom troll as noted elsewhere, and when I came out found a small table. There were about two dozen dancers, and I didn’t recognize any of them since I am a daytime visitor. I also don’t remember names well, but I was joined by a couple of ladies, the first a very small spinner, not my type, but I bought her a drink, spent ten minutes chatting and let her know that I was not a VIP candidate for her. The next was a train wreck, buzzed, rough looking and broke (got the sob story immediately). I swiftly suggested she move along and then was joined by Luxury, a name I remember because I have repeated. She is 20 year old AA with a very nice natural body and a family heritage of working the strip clubs, she told me her mom used to dance and several other her older sisters as well. Perhaps that explains her skills at such a young age. We chatted, I bought her some non alcoholic drink and we eventually agreed to hit the VIP. Negotiations were simple $ for whatever but no Greek. Paid the ten dollar vip toll and she selected the booth right behind when the tollkeeper stands. I thought that might be a bad sign, but I was wrong. That booth is certainly roomier than those to right when you enter and she used that extra room to my advantage. The menu was indeed open and she was awesome. I lost track of time but it was a long visit and I enjoyed every minute. She enjoyed it as well, which was doubly fun. We emerged after about 30 minutes and I gave her a nice tip on top of the agreed $. She was grateful and as I noted, I have been back one other time. She remembered me and we again had a lot of fun. The second time she was a bit buzzed so perhaps she turned 21. I didn’t think to ask until after. Highly recommend Luxury. Nights Tuesday, Wednesday most recently, I don’t know the rest of her schedule.
