Comfy in some ways, weird in others.
I'd been going to showplace a long time before discovering this spot, but wanted somewhere that felt less like an assembly line. Walked in and noticed how small everything is. No DJ, just a juke box, no cover either. P shaped bar took up much of the space, pool table in back with a couple of older guys seated on that side of the room. Immediately noticed all the girls here are older and a bit washed up. There was one crazy loud AA dancer I actively avoided, the rest were Russian and Brazilian. Bartender was an older brunette with a Russian-sounding accent, pretty friendly. Definitely has a local vibe for an older friendly crowd. Lots of guys coming in from work to have a beer and chat.
There are two lap dance cubes separated by large curtains. If it's a busy night and they're both occupied, you'll get hit by the dollar parade, which can get a bit incessant here unless you sit at the opposite end of the bar. I got a dance from one of the Brazilians, had a good time, and left without spending more than $90 including tips for the others. They don't have their eyeballs glued to the clock here like Showplace either. You pay for one dance and get generous time.
If you don't mind older dancers and want fun on a budget, this is the place to go.
