High class talent, low mileage

I dropped in late Friday afternoon, and hung around into the early evening. Gold Club is easily the nicest club in SF. It's pretty centrally located, but a cab ride from North beach and all the clubs there. There is one big main stage, and two much smaller side stages (not always occupied) and the dancers rotate through.

People always want to write about the food, or how friendly the staff is when doing these reviews, but I go to drink and spend time with dancers. The drinks are fine, good selection of premium brands, exceptional service by bartenders and cocktail waitresses that are every bit as hot (or hotter) than the dancers, and the prices are about what you would guess. I tend to sit at the bar to the right of the main stage, near the smaller stage. This allows you to see the whole floor as well chat with the girls on the small stage. The main benefit though is the girls have to walk right past you to get to the dressing room. This gives an opportunity to say hi to someone you might want to spend time with later.

The girls are awesome. All shapes and colors, always well dressed, hair, makeup and nails done. These are the best looking, highest class dancers in the city...by far. Most are willing to sit and chat a bit, especially if you're willing to buy them a drink. Find the right girl and she'll stay a while and make it feel like a date. This time I met Hayley, a tall willowy brunette, who also happens to be a graduate student in psychology. She was smart, funny, hotter than hell, and a blast to spend time with. I took her upstairs for a three dance set ($120 with a little tip) which was great, but nothing past a decent lap dance. There may be more here for those willing to spend a bunch, but that's not my deal. For spending time with quality women, this is the spot.
