One word... boring

On a recent Saturday night I made an unplanned visit to Mynx in Groton. Earlier I had met up with friends at Foxwoods Casino. Apparently I drank too much and smoked too much payotee because on my way home I unknowingly got on I-95 southbound instead of northbound. Anyway I realized my mistake, got off the highway to make a u-turn and then remembered that this joint was nearby. At first I thought the mix up was like a sign from above that I was gonna have a really good time. Especially since I had won about $600 playing blackjack. But in the end I only had a boring, uneventful visit. Here's the details...

I. Location-

Mynx is less than a quarter mile from the I-95 ramps on an undivided highway running through a commercial zone. There's a big sign out front so you can't miss the joint. Parking situation was just OK. Decent size lot right out front but weren't many empty spots. There was also parking along the sides of the building and out back but lighting wasn't very good. No valet either but I saw the cops make a pass through the parking lot both right after I pulled in and also later as I was about to leave. BTW I wouldn't drink too much here if you're driving because that quarter mile back to the highway is a real bear trap! Best way to leave this place without attracting unwanted attention is to drive around back and use the street behind the club.
