Arrived at The Paramount around 8pm on a Sunday. The appeal of two-for-one dances (and apparently one of the few contact locations around Vancouver) was too much for a bored man to resist. In the name of public safety and environmentally-conscious behavior I took the train from downtown to New Westminster. The trip took just over 40 minutes with an eight minute walk.

I wish I would have gone to New Westminster have dinner and drinks beforehand because it was way cheaper than downtown. I got to the club, paid $10 cover, and walked into a long auditorium. The back has "private" rooms than are anything but, as the curtains are basically non-existent. This is where the $25 dances take place. The half hour and hour dances are in the balcony.

The auditorium is long and filled with rocks; I swear despite the interspersed (sometimes 10 or more minutes between shows) performers. I had one dancer stop to chat while I was sitting near the stage waiting for a first show and then didn't have another come by for the rest of the night. Mostly white with a few Latinas, various builds, mostly in the 4-7 range of vampiness. They were scurried up and down the aisles to get to the balcony, where their customers waited. I headed there as well.
