Contest Finale

This review is regarding the night they had the Michigan Showgirl of the Year finals here. I realize that these contests are always a bit cheesy. However, I was in the mood to see some great pole work so I went. Admission was jacked up and there was quite a crowd (unusual for here) when I arrived. The local girls put on a decent show but none that I particularly wanted to VIP with...I was just satisfied to watch the local girls and contest girls dance. I figured this would be a good opportunity to watch Mason go all out on the pole. Well...that was until the contest got going.

First two rounds were kinda stupid...but that is OK since i knew the pole portion was ahead. The first girl from one of the out of town clubs put on a good show. The second girls show was then set up. It took about 20 minutes to set up her props...boring!!! Her show was like a performance art piece...was too artsy for a strip club. It concluded with her throwing a very large glass of body glitter on herself. This meant another long delay to clean up the mess. I couldn't take it any longer and bolted before Mason's show (there were two girls before her).

I think the club really blew it as most of the crowd was gone by the time I departed....they snatched defeat from the jaws of victory...
