Interesting place, pluses and minuses
A few things struck me after I entered. First, there was only one TV, over the bar. A positive. Too many strip clubs think that patrons need entertainment other the dancers and put so many TV’s in the club that they distract from the main attractions.. Second, there were no watresses. To get a drink a patron needed to go to the bar. Another positive as there was no annoying push for for drinks. Third, other than the bar area, the club was very dimly lit. There were no spotlights on the dancers. Although dim lighting may be attractive in the seating and VIP areas, there should be good lighting on the stage. A negative.
I arrived at the the Top Hat about 9:30 on a Saturday night. It looked like there were 8 to 10 dancers, and maybe about 15 patrons. The retangular stage took up a large section of the room. No patrons were seated at the stage, but were seated in comfortable chairs, some, quite a distance from the stage.
I thought about a third of the dancers were quite attractive, a third OK, and a third because of too much silicone, to much weight, or too many tatoos, just not my type. But my gaze drifted to a young dancer, who later gave her stage name of Asha. She had waist length black hair, and wore a short school-girl skirt and tied crop blouse which displayed he ample breasts. When I noticed her, she was comfortably seated with a group of other patrons.
When Asha’s set started, I was at the stage. I thought showing some interest (of course tipping) would lead her to seek me out after her set eas over. I was a bit disappointed when she came close on the stage that her nipples were taped over, but that was obviously not her rules.
Alas, she didn’t stop by. Not because she was making money, but she went out to the patio (i.e., the outdoor smoking area), and then spent the rest of the time until her next set with another dancer.
