Went perhaps a bit too early
I stopped in on a Wednesday two weeks ago. No patdown as I walked past the dancer sign-in sheet on the corner of the bar near the door. I just took a quick glance but only saw two other customers. So I ordered an O'Doul's (I normally drink Bud but wasn't feeling it just yet). If Barbie hadn't waved me over to the corner near the closed door all the way around the bar, I might have left. It was barely 1pm but I don't remember seeing the bar so dead even on a Wednesday. Nobody on stage dancing, which was expected at the time, but no music was playing, no TV, nothing. I normally talk loudly people always tell me, but I had to basically whisper or it would sound like I was yelling. I had a couple lap dances right at the bar even though Barbie mentioned taking her into one of the booths. The vibe was just not there. I'm normally generous with the dancers that know me, but I barely started a half hour and I felt like I was forcing myself not to leave just to be polite. Barbie is cool but between tips and buying her drinks, the 120 I spent can only be called a waste if I'm being honest. On another Wednesday maybe I'll go closer to 3 like I read on another review. Even if it's crowded that would be much better.
On a side note, I drove down Essex Street in Orange this morning when I left the bank. Anyone remember Rah Rah's ? Well there was construction visible and a new sign that reads "Exit 11 Gentlemen's Club" (no doubt because Exit 11 on 280 is near)
