A nice place for fun of the non-sexual variety.

Dropped into La Gloria Bar on a Friday night after midnight. This place kind of confused me. There are robes, a stripper pole, and ficha drinks, but I did not see one person take a girl upstairs the entire time I was there. I know those services are available based off previous reviews, but I did not see one person partake. I did see several couples dancing their hearts off to bachata on the dance floor though.

I was feeling very hot (mucho calor!) and took a seat at one of the booths. Was approached by a mesera and asked for a bottle of water. I think it may have been a buck cheaper than Hong Kong, and it was a big bottle too. Soon after the mesera brought over a girl and asked if I would like to sit with her. The girl she brought was a chubby 5 at the very most, but she had a lovely smile and bright, cheerful eyes. I thought to myself it might be nice just to talk to a chick so I agreed to let her sit next to me.

Her name was Nohemi Aguilar. Nohemi did the once over on me. You know what I'm talking about, when the chick stares at you from head to toe. She even did it twice. She then asked me if I was a Mexican. I told her I was just another Americano. She seemed a bit surprised that I was there. Maybe they don't get many tourists hanging out in their bar? It certainly looked like a local-heavy crowd.
