Black Friday

I spent my Black Friday watching college football, when I got tired of that and felt the need to get out I decided to try some Black Friday shopping at Sugar 44. I arrived round 10:30 pm, plenty of parking available, cover charge was $10, no ID scan, no pat down, no wand and no Black Friday deals to be found anywhere. I did pay $6 for a bottled beer though.

The first thing I noticed upon arriving is that they have removed the ladies dressing room straight across from the bar, they now have tables there, I'm not sure when that was done but it looks nice. I'm not quite sure who would sit back there though as it gets a lot of traffic and offers zero privacy. Nobody sat there in my 2 hours at the club.

There were maybe 10-12 customer in the place so there was little trouble finding a spot to sit, it seems like mostly an older crowd, the younger party crowd typically heads over to Bourbon Street as such this place has a nice laid back vibe to it.
