It worked

So, I had never been in Henry North, odd because I enjoy sister club Bogarts and I am embarrassed to say I have had happy times at Henry South. Went in on a Sunday afternoon after two other stops. First, at Cricket, no advance work and found out it doesn’t open until 7pm on Sunday. Head down Michigan Ave and try Bogarts. Football on TV is the best things happening at Bogarts this afternoon. I could have asked for a pass to Henry’s but was in a hurry to run away. Apparently, I’m a Sunday rookie, thought maybe FC, but that’s also a later open on Sunday so I figure I would check out Henry’s up the street. Not sure I had previously even driven by and surprised to find it actually less than a mile up the road. Paid my second $5 toll and took a seat at the bar. A few patrons who were definitely well served, but no patrons at either stage so I had my choice. First gal sits down, I buy her a drink, no recollection of her name, probably 40 but wearing it well, short blondish hair and a better than average body. Liked her and planned to discuss fun, but she got pulled to the stage. Different gal quickly swooped in. At this point, I failed myself. I recognized her from Cricket and she told me she had only been at Henry’s for four night. She said she kept running into the same crowd at her former place and wasn’t making money. Duh, her con had worked once or twice but wasn’t repeatable because she just wasn’t worth it, thus the regulars at cricket much have gotten smart.

I missed that obvious tell, let her talk me into a visit to vip after agreement on price and then realized that I was one of those cricket regulars who would have remembered her mediocre performance and suggested she ,ove along. Without her name this is not much value, sorry, we accomplished what was agreed but she whined about taking 2.5 songs and enforced far too many rules, don’t touch hair, head, hurry up, this stays on, you need to do this . . . Drama was high and if I had seen her in her former element, I would have known to avoid. Despite this encounter, I will go back, not Henry N fault that this patron turned off his brain and fell for a nice pair of naturals without processing the other facts that would have allowed someone else to pocket my money.
