Sunday Night at the Vu
This was my first ever visit to the Vu in Vegas. On previous trips to the city, I’d visited Crazy Horse Too and Olympic Gardens (both now closed), and the Spearmint Rhino. I’d been to the Rhino a couple of months ago, and decided to try out the Vu in Vegas since I’ve visited a few of their clubs in California.
I arrived at the club close to 8:30 p.m. on a Sunday night. I used the club’s limousine service and was given free admission. I walked in, and the bar was immediately to my left. The stage is at the front of the room, and there are VIP booths available as well as regular seating. The VIP seating and seats were red like the Vu club I visit locally. Because it was still early, there were only around ten patrons when I arrived, with around 10-20 dancers.
There is an open bar between 6 pm and 9 pm here (free bottles of Bud, Bud Light, Ultra). After 9 pm, a bottle of beer will run you $15 for an import. I ordered a dancer a shot of tequila, and it ran me $7 before 9.
