Well, I guess I'm crossing this club off my list.
There were about 15-18 guys in the place around 9 pm. The Sunday night NFL game was on the multiple screens. About 4 guys were getting dances at the bar stools, another 4 were in a group and just talking to each other, a few were looking down on their cell phones with the illuminated screen lighting up their faces (sad), and the others were watching the game.
By the way, the bouncer, wearing a Bear's shirt, was the one load voice in the place and made more like a door rather than a window, for a few of us sitting at the bar, while he stood leaning over the bar and yelling after each Bear's play that gained yardage. Was at times difficult to see around his head to catch glimpses of the game.
I received dances from 4 different dancers. Each dancer was good at the light touch stick shifting. Unfortunately, each one did the ..."buy me a drink?"...hustle in the middle of the 1st dance. Is this the bars new M.O.? I abandoned the Cleveland clubs for the very same reason. The bartender seemed like a vulture when he saw the dancer start her initial dance. He'd stop what he was doing and just stare at her. Like, duh! You don't think the customer notices? Oh well, onto other clubs.
