I first arrived at this club...

I first arrived at this club after visiting Cowboys in the early afternoon. Even though the club hours were listed as opening at 12:00 noon, I called and was informed they didn't open up until 6:00PM today. I returned to Stephanie's at 6:30PM, Thursday, July 13, 2006. There was no cover charge being assessed at the time. As you enter, the huge bar is located to the back right of the club. The main stage is huge and located to the right of the club entrance. I went up to the bar and laid a twenty-dollar bill on the bar, ordering a coke. The nice looking female bartender delivered the coke but didn't pick up the twenty. Looking around, I noticed one other customer as the bar, who may have been one of the two dancer's boyfriend. The two dancers, one black and one white I would rate in appearance at 7s. Both dancers were sitting at the bar playing some type of computer game. I noticed a wide screen TV and several other small TVs scattered amongst the club along with about 20 tables with comfortable easy chairs. I also noted a VIP area entrance sign to the left of the club entrance. I departed the club after spending 20 bored minutes sitting at the bar, at 6:50PM. Even though the club had only been opened 40 minutes, I was discouraged do to the lack of dancer interest. I rate this club at a "6" for now, based solely on the interior decor and classiness. Although I wasted 20 minutes inside this club, I did get a "free coke" in air-conditioned solitude, out of the deal. I may have raised my rating to the club to a 7 or 8 if a dancer would have gotten up off their duffs and danced a couple of songs. BTW..... this club, Cowboys, and Deja Vu Showgirls are all situated on the same corner (Russell Cave Road and W New Castle Road, within walking distance of each other. Like atomicT mentioned in his review of this same day, the club sign says under new management. I sure hope the 'new management' shows up soon or this club will just be a 'tax write-off' for the owners.
