Destination club

Back in August someone titled their review as a "non-destination club.

Well this was my destination club. My best memories of my earliest evenings in a club were built at Cheeks a couple years ago. I tend to be extremely picky (I prefer to think of my self as discerning) when choosing to latch onto an entertainer. I had to prepare myself to be disappointed because the likelihood of a repeat experience was very low.

I spent the day prior club hopping in Columbus to ID clubs I'll visit in the future and populate some reviews. (summarized under Kahoots and Sirens) Left early to see if I could get down to Cheeks before it closed, and made it just in time to get a splash of reality when I walked in the door. 'greeted' by the phrase, "Do you want a private dance" by a pretty but grumpy lady who oozed 'attitude problem'. Tried to politely tell her I wanted to get my bearings first, there wasn't much left going on. Five minutes later a two for one was announced (this is just a club marketing thing because two songs for $25 is pretty standard for negotiated prices whenever the club is open. made the mistake of thinking it was worth at least 7 minutes and $25 to get a dance before I left I approached the spinner at the door. She sneered and said that her dances were too good for the specials and she only does 1 for 1. At least I was smart enough to walk away from that one and left for the night.
