The Fare Club was quite a surprise, and not a good one at that. From my previous experiences, the service was typically above par, along with the atmosphere. This time, on a late Saturday evening (early Sunday morning) we arrived at the Fare around 3 a.m. Strolled through the ridiculously long line at the door and checked in with the front desk. There had to have been over 50 guys waiting in line, with more coming in from the parking lot at the time we arrived. I had not seen the club this packed in quite a while, because this outpour is typically reserved for football season. Headed up to the VIP area, which was extremely crowded, but found a little area to relax in. There may have been 20 girls working that night, for what seemed like an overly full house. The VIP area was a bit different, as there was only one girl dancing on the center stage and no other stage areas for the girls to dance on. The main floor was brimming with guys, many of whom struggled to find seating at all. The service was definitely lacking on this particular night, but it's excusable simply for the fact that it was quite doubtful the club was prepared for such a crowd. The girls were very friendly when they finally got around to us, but for some reason, the quality was below average for this place. I was quite a bit taken aback and surprised that the night was not going to be anything like I expected. Within an hour, we were back out the door, looking for better places to have a bit of fun.
