Was looking for a change from my normal rotation of places so I decided to hit up Visions. I used to frequent this place in my youth when it was in it's old location down the road. I had a few good times there so I figured a trip down memory lane would be fun. So you know how meeting your idols is sometimes a bad idea? Well, revisiting places from the past can be just as disappointing.

The first clue to how the trip was going to go should have been an almost empty parking lot. Decided, meh, it's early, maybe it's just slow. I entered into a dark, musty room with no customers or dancers to be seen. I almost did an immediate about face but the attendant assured me they were open. Decided whatever, I'm here, may as well see if anything was worth the time and money. I paid a stupid high cover ($15 or $20, can't exactly remember) and took a seat at the stage. I waited what seemed like 10 minutes before I see any sign of life emerge from the back room. The stripper (forgot her name) walks on stage and just sits down and asks if I want a dance. I say maybe but I'd like to know what I am getting. The VIP price and tip was given but I was getting a weird vibe that she was all talk. I decided against the dance since the price was high and I wanted to see the other dancer. A few minutes later, the other dancer swaps positions with the one on stage and I go through the same routine. This one was more vague and was wearing a sweatshirt. I decided to decline the dance offers and head down the road.

All in all, I spent 20min there and saw a total of 0 other customers. The girls were OK looking but seemed depressed. I'll chalk this up to some things are better left in the past.
