A quiet day at the Orchid

Purple Orchid is my go to day spot in Philadelphia. No cover charge until 7 pm. Usually a friendly group of about six to seven dancers. Expect to be hit for tips following the dancers time on stage. Usually $2 to $3 works. Afternoons provide a nice opportunity to discover which dancer best fits your style.

Daytime provides a nice opportunity to make use of the $20 dance room usually with full benefits and essentially no intrusion. If you prefer a private experience then go with the $30 room. There are two with comfortable couches and full doors. All dances are 4 minutes. ALWAYS get the dance count yourself from Steve or Paul at the front desk. Occasionally some dancers have a habit of increasing dance count. Avoid any hassle simply go to the desk yourself.
