Choose your time carefully

I went to this club on a Friday night around 10pm. That should have been a pretty busy time. The bouncer took my cash and let me in. Entering the club, I noticed the place was practically empty. There was a girl on stage, but she wasn't doing much dancing, because the only other guy in the club worked there. I stayed and had a drink but felt a bit awkward.

Maybe the place picks up a bit later in the evening. Or maybe Saturday is the night to go.

I went to this place once before a few years ago and had a good time then. But this time, it was just kinda empty and sad.
