Went to Centerfolds on a Monday...

Went to Centerfolds on a Monday at 3PM. There was no cover charge and the table dances Monday were $20 with beer costing around $4.25. When you walk through the double front doors there is a wooden office desk on your left with a cute blonde sitting behind the desk that waves you in. There were several people hanging around the desk. One guy was suited up who might have been a manager and a couple of hiphops socializing who might have been the car valets, restroom attendants, or something. The entrance to the club is in through the left past the office desk. The club is very dark when you first enter until your eyes adjust. About a dozen of the tables are between the 3 stages, with 3 large booths next to the entrance wall and a few tables below the DJ on the left. A large VIP area is up on the right side of the stages with about 10 dim booths. I was quoted $40 for the VIP which included a bottle of champagne. A long bar is on the left of the stages. I did not see very many mirrors like other clubs. There were plenty of cute waitresses that were working hard. The dancers seemed to get a big cut of cash from the drink orders since they were extra eager to order drinks. The day girls were average looking and gave VERY liberal dances, enjoyable in San Antonio standards. There were hardly any customers in the club at 3PM. Today the SA Express-News stated the Ricks Cabaret bought Centerfolds for 2.9 million so things might be changing soon.
