The thing i love about penns port is that the women there are great looking and friendly most of the time, and not much push either for extra tips or for dances since they don't give them. So if i'm in the area i usually drop in for a beer or two to see who's there, and it's always some good looking woman, and they are also never shy about showing their best parts off.
I think they like the fact that most of the patrons in the place are not pushy as well, just a comfortable neighborhood bar with decent lunch food, good beer selection and good looking girls.
The typical dancer does three songs, takes more off each song to get to a good show-off, and then comes around for the standard 3 dollar tip dance. If you sit at the stage there's an expectation of tipping while dancing, and this should be expected given the additionally good views you can get from there as well as some small chat with these women.
The women tend to come back regularly so you can get to know them, the place finally got it's web act back together so you can see the schedule in advanvce (this is huge to me!), and if you tip pretty well it's not lost on the dancers - they remember you and take some care to give you a good show too.
It's still about the money to them, no illusions about that, but like most jobs good working conditions make for happy workers. I think that the way Tommy and the staff at Penn's Port take care of the conditions helps the girls, and the customers win too.
Just don't be looking for more than great looking women , and make sure you tip to help keep this gem going!
