Check Your Expectations

I made another recent visit to the Hi-Liter. I arrived around 2:00pm, the parking lot was pretty full, no cover charge, no ID scan, no wand, no bouncer escorting me my seat with his hands out looking for a tip. 2 for 1 drinks. Fairly crowded, but I found a seat along the wall unoccupied by the Cuban contingent. Despite rumors of its demise, this place is still packing people in. The hardcore mongers may not be stopping in as much but everyone else still seem to be stopping in.

There were lots of girls working, probably around 20 or so, some good looking, some not so much, I'd rate most of them in the 6-8 range and I think there was probably someone there for all tastes. I also noticed lots of girls coming and going throughout my stay so there seemed to be steady stream of new faces.

The dances, as have been described ad infinitum on this site, are not what they used to be. Your chances of getting a handie in the VIP are not what they used to be and there is definitely more of a bouncer presence on the floor and around the VIP section. If that bothers you, you may be better off at BML. Personally, it's not a make or break deal for me and I can understand the clubs point of view in cracking down on this activity (should they really risk losing their liquor license to keep a few hardcore mongers happy?). Now that being said, you can still have a good time here, you just need to keep your expectations in check. I tend to stick with the same girls, those girls recognize me and are comfortable dancing for me so they are willing to bend the rules a bit for me. My advice is to find a few girls you like and stick with the them, mix in a new girl now and then for some variety.
