Staff laughing about busting guys in the private room

Mardi Gras II is a very low key place, where most people just hang out. There are usually a half dozen strippers, and most are getting drunk with patrons (oftentimes favorites). This can make it difficult to grab a dancer you find to be your type, because once tied up with a regular drinking, she isn't doing much else except sitting at the bar chit chatting. There have been a number of noticeably bombed dancers here. One that I exchanged numbers with during the Summer told me she got fired for getting too drunk. Perhaps that's the truth, perhaps not, I don't care.

With that said, there are typically a few dancers who are working the crowd, and I usually find choice number two or three available for a couple of dances. The food is actually above average, and is not typical strip joint scary crap. Whomever is the chef actually cares and knows how to cook.

The most recent time I was hanging out at the bar and being ignored by dancers who were laughing at their favorite patron's jokes, I listened to the bartender talk about the manager and the joy that she found in observing something happening in the private rooms on video, waiting a minute or two allowing it to evolve, and then rushing in to break things up. It seemed to me she had a routine that fed some odd voyeur fetish that culminated with scaring two people during what some would consider a private and therefore embarrassing moment.
