Visited Temptations on a weekend and...

Visited Temptations on a weekend and on a weekday night recently. The interior of the club is very plush and nice, like a turn-of-the-century sitting room, red velvet and overstuffed chairs. I like that. There are several (rather small) floors, as is the case with most French Quarter clubs. The problem is with the dancers themselves. They were really below par for each evening that I went to Temptations. The staff was friendly, though drinks service was kind of hard to come by at certain times (which can be nice, given that you don't want them gouging you, so it isn't a complaint necessarily). But the ladies who were actually stripping were, well, just ladies. There was nothing special about them, mostly because of thick waists or poorly done breast enhancements. Many had nice faces. The "talent" in the French Quarter is at the Hustler clubs and at Penthouse. The staff at Temptations was nice, willing to check inside to let me know if my group was there, etc. But the ladies weren't up to par. And, given (as has to be an assumption in the first place) that most NOLa clubs are going to be low on contact and extras from the ladies, you absolutely HAVE TO have the eye-candy.
