Day shift at this club looks to be dying

The club remains well kept and staff is professional, no complaints there. I went in on a Monday afternoon around 2pm and there was no cover. The bar is to the left as you walk in with the stage straight ahead with small tables next to the stage and booths against the wall. There's an area with private dance booths behind the stage.

I walked past the bar as I came in and there looked to be two or three dancers with customers at the bar. I walked into the main stage area and there were no dancers there, either on stage or at the tables, and one other customer in a booth. The waitress, who was very friendly and efficient, came and took my order right away. I hadn't had lunch yet so I ordered a beer and a quesadilla. The beer came right away and was nice and cold, I think it was $4 for an Amstel light. After a few minutes an AA dancer came on stage, probably a 6 or a 7. There was another AA girl walking around who stopped by and said hi, she was very friendly, along with a thin blonde in her 30's, also stopped by to say hi and was friendly. None of them asked if I wanted a dance and none were particularly my type, so I didn't ask them for a dance or invite them to sit. The only other dancer there was a petite, cute brunette in her early 20's, who was parked with another customer. I would have done dances with her, but I couldn't catch her eye when she walked by me twice and I wasn't in the mood to track her down. My quesadilla arrived, it was tasty, so I ate most of it, finished my beer and took off. I was probably there for 35 minutes total. Not a complete waste of time but I left with plenty of money in my pocket that I would have been happy to have spent.

A year ago there would have been 8 to 10 girls here mid afternoon, some hot, some just ok, but a good, high energy vibe and everyone having a good time. I wouldn't say that the visit this time was horrible, there were a few girls, all of which were attractive and one of which I'd consider legitimately hot and had I been in the mood to either assertively get time with the hot dancer or to take a flyer on one of the others, I'm sure I could have made a good time of it. Overall, if you're in the area and have time, I wouldn't steer you away from stopping in as the beer and food are good and reasonably priced, but there are better options for day shift in Columbus.
