Is it worth it?
The Upper Brass (and the Brass Rail for that matter) are Toronto institutions. Set in the heart of downtown on Yonge Street just south of Bloor, it provides one of the "nicer" club experiences in the GTA. Clean, safe, comfortable, easy to get to, glitzy. Lots of very attractive girls - probably the best lookers at any club in town. And nice private, semi curtained booths.
So what could be the issue? Upper Brass doesn't open until 9, and stays pretty quiet until after 10 so the volume of girls is limited upstairs compared to downstairs at the Rail. The $20 cover fee is annoying. Drinks are expensive. Girls are aggressive. Songs are cut to 3 minutes. And most significantly, mileage is likely the lowest of any club in town. You won't be getting any extras here (well YMMV as I have had a few) but it is 2 way contact. Stay away from the champagne rooms. They are a total rip off.
But its not all bad. If you are a tourist and want some great eye candy and easy access from your downtown hotel its a decent enough place to kill a few hours and few hundred $.
