Stagnation?

Used to always do the 1-2 between Lamplighter and Centerfolds... if one was happening, the other might be. On a recent biz trip I decided to check out Centerfolds first, maybe 10-12 dancers working, good mix, but I knew it would get better as the night went on. To kill some time, popped over to Lamplighter for a beer.

Honestly, wished I hadn't even stopped! After one sip, I was ready to go. I think in the 15 minutes I was there, the stage was empty for half of it. The 2-3 girls that seemed to be working the place were all pretty over the hill... not in an "experienced" way, more like "clothes coming off shouldn't be your gig". There was one pretty cute blonde who was talking to a regular during my visit. No action on the stage or anywhere else, bright lighting... can't really see the appeal of this place.

Is there a dependable time or shift to hit this place up and catch some variety and quality entertainment? Bar staff has always been friendly enough, and the layout ain't the worst out there... just not sure I've ever been here and had a really interesting experience. Will only ever be back if I have a LOT of time to kill and CF's and Marios are absolutely dry.
