Been a little while

Yesterday's Saturday visit was my first trip back to Follies in a good while. The main purpose of the visit was to visit with a couple of the guys, Shadow and Clubber whom I'd never met. Hamster was also there as well as Joe Webber. I also wanted to see if there was any new talent from some of the closed clubs.

I arrived just as they opened doors and before valet was set up. There wasn't a waiting line to get in which I've seen in the past. The crowd was also slow to arrive compared to past weekend visits. For the first hour, there was the typical "old rock" soundtrack they play before the regular DJ arrives. There were a few dancers on the floor circulating but most girls sat on the couches checking their phones until there were more guys and the vibe felt right. I sat next to Shadow near the big VIP and there was already a VIP placard on the table which I ignored. No one came up to "buy" the table before I left around 3:45.

The mix of dancers was similar to what I have seen and read about, mostly hispanic and black but there were about 4-5 new or returning white dancers that I thought had potential. I sampled dances from 4 different girls including Cia, Ava, Chandler and another whose stage name I can't ever remember but she has been there for several years but apparently has returned. All the dances were good and up to Follies standards except for Chandler. She is brand new and mostly just bounces around. Hopefully she will improve with time but she won't last too long without some improvement. No VIP this trip though I inquired, out of curiosity, on two of the girls. As mentioned, one said she didn't do VIP at all and the other quoted $200 for her, $50 for the room.
