Why Did it Take So Long?

I've lived within twenty minutes of Lou Turk's for most of my life, but for some reason never visited until this week. While I indicated that my visit was a Friday night, I actually stopped by twice, Wednesday evening and Friday.

Each time, there was a $5.00 cover charge and a walk through a metal detector. The bouncer at the door is friendly; on Wednesday, he took the $5, while there was an attractive cashier to handle the money on Friday.

I'd heard the place was kind of seedy, but I also heard there were renovations. It looked good to me! Solid lights and sound, and a couple bars, though it appeared only one was active on my visits. Friday was a bit more crowded, but not too much so. When I arrived on Wednesday, Sin (or maybe Syn) was dancing; she looked great and danced well, too. I was impressed by the variety of dancers, size, ethnicity, age...a good range, but leaning toward the lean bodies that I like best.
